We were the project architect for the renovation of the Reptile House into a dynamic and user-friendly facility. Renovations included upgrading exhibits, lighting, finishes and graphics as well as adding air conditioning, new plumbing and electrical systems, new entrances to meet ADA requirements and new interior circulation patterns. The project budget was $1,000,000. Construction was completed in November 1998. We were initially involved in the creation of a Feasibility Study that included numerous cost comparisons, and subsequently prepared the Construction Documents and provided full construction administration services as well as coordinated several specialty consultants and their work.
