Located on State Route 301 south of Elyria, Ohio, this new fire station replaced the existing fire station of a prominent volunteer fire department. Because of the rich history within the fire department and the Township, the building is designed to be reminiscent of a turn-of-the-century firehouse. The one-story building features an entrance rotunda for the display of historical items with living and dormitory space for 6 full-time personnel. The project bid under the budget of $2,200,000 with completion in July 2003. We provided full design and construction administration services, including interior design and selection of furnishings.
