JSP Joint Fire District Replacement Fire Station

Currently in the Design and Construction Documents Phase, the JSP Joint Fire District Replacement Fire Station is scheduled for bidding in late fall of 2008 with construction completion in the fall of 2009.

The fire station is located just west of the St. Paris Village limits in west central Ohio, and will replace the current facility located in the central business district. The building is designed to complement the rural / residential character of the community and to set the design standard for future residential and commercial development in the surrounding area. The building will accomodate the existing 35 member volunteer department as well as planned future full-time Fire and EMS staff. It will feature the department's fully restored 1884 vintage steam pumper.

The one-story building features a pedestrian plaza, headquarters administrative offices, 5 drive through apparatus bays, hose tower that also serves as a training tower, 35-person training room, and living, dining, kitchen, dormitory space for 6 fire personnel. We are providing full design and construction administration services, including interior design and selection of furnishings.
